 First Baptist Church of Ballinger is a wonderful community of believers. The people are dedicated to the ministry of Christ, whether locally or globally, Our goal is to reach people for Christ and to help them discover and use their gifts for the Kingdom.

  The Bible is our authority. We love it so much that we refuse to use it to beat people down. Instead, we want to discover God's truth in His Word and allow the Holy Spirit to convict, convert, and consecrate. We do not demand agreement in all points but encourage each person to seek God through Scripture and prayer.

  At First Baptist Church of Ballinger we take God seriously when he says in Colossians 3:11 "Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all."

  We believe that God loves everyone; all races, rich or poor, powerful or not. He desires to bring all to repentance and follow Him. Praise be to God from whom all blessings flow.
